As a photographer, I can admit it's pretty scary being on the OTHER side of the camera. It's easy to tell clients to put on their "rawr" face, but when it comes time to do it myself, I'd rather throw up my peace signs and cross my eyes. It's a vulnerable thing when someone asks you to prance around like you do alone in front of your mirror WHILE THEY'RE WATCHING.
Melissa Barrick, an amazing fellow photographer in Maryland, asked me to take pictures of her for the re-branding of her business and I asked her to do just that... "prance around like I'm not here." And you know what? She did it. And not only did she do it, but she looked beautiful while she did it and I'm so lucky to have her beautiful face and rockin' style featured on my blog today. Enjoy, friends!
