It's hard to believe that it's approaching the one month mark of me being back on East Coast. My life looks a lot different here than it did in Spokane, but I'm learning to live in the present and appreciate the simplicity that every day brings. No, I'm not going on weekend jaunts to Utah to casually repel 150 feet into a canyon, and no I'm not road-tripping with two awesome friends through the Redwood Forest, or even drinking coffee in a shop that isn't Starbucks, but I am getting more quality time with my family whom I love, and I am getting to invest in new people lives at American Eagle Outfitters where I'm newly employed (funny, I know). I get to go on runs in the neighborhood I grew up in and think about how full and good and abundant my life has been since I ran around these streets as a kid. And today, I received a letter from my dear friend Sarah in Spokane. She hand wrote me a letter and cut leaves out of pages of a book and I was content. In the simplicity.
