Twice As Warm.

My great friend Brian Lieberman started a small project in the summer called Twice As Warm. He wanted to create a sustainable way of providing new clothing to struggling children and families in his community so he established a similar model to TOMS where every clothing item purchased, an identical clothing item would be given to someone in need.

Brian has worked closely with the DC Jewish Community Center for the past several months planning an event where local volunteers could pack lunches to give to the homeless while Twice As Warm gave out hats, gloves, and scarves. The event was held this past Sunday in a DC park after volunteers packed 50 lunch bags to pass out to those in need. The outcome of the event was incredible as all the lunches and clothing items were passed out in a matter of minutes. Here are some pictures from the event and you can also see some of these pictures featured on the Twice As Warm website.
