My favorite moments in life are the ones where I say "this is my life right now" because I simply cannot believe that it's my life. It's as if I'm trying to wrap my head around the goodness of what is taking place so I have to remind myself that THIS is MY life right now. Last night provided several of those moments. It began with Mustache Monday. A little event at a DC bar where people are growing mustaches during the month of March to raise money for a non-profit called 826dc. I was surrounded by people with mustaches (some real, some fake) and new friends galore. Then the night continued to an album listening party for Derek Webb's new album Feedback. I sat in the library (with a moving ladder might I add) of a DC row house with new friends and got to listen and then discuss a completely instrumental album based on the Lord's Prayer. It was amazing, and I had to remind myself... THIS IS MY LIFE RIGHT NOW.
