Faces.

I went to the gym tonight, sweated my brains out (per usual), and also saw a few friends. Nothing out of the ordinary. The part that did stray from my usual routine was that my 10-minute warm-up run (that usually feels like 45 minutes) passed much quicker than usual. The Oscars were on and I had a front row treadmill to watch. I couldn’t hear what they were saying and there were no sub-titles to read. But I watched. I watched the faces of 5 nominees as each of them had a fellow actor talk about them as they were introduced. Watching the faces of the nominees was fascinating to me. Some of them had permanent smiles, a few looked uncomfortable, some of them glowed, and all of them looked proud. It made me thankful for faces. It made me thankful for communicating how you feel without words. It also made me think about some of the faces I love and so I compiled a collage for you to see. Enjoy.
