I never knew there could be so much comedy at a grocery store. Today, as I shopped with my Mom, I discovered that the day before Thanksgiving rush to the store is chock full of hilarity. There is a certain fervor people have when hunting and gathering for their Thanksgiving feast that usually results in comedy.

You may have had to be there, but I found it particularly humorous that the butternut squash was no where to be found. I overheard several distressed customers discussing the issue, along with an entire store intercom broadcast addressing the problem. Hilarious. Who even knew butternut squash was a Thanksgiving staple?

This scenario among others, made today so great. I am thankful to be home.
