Thanksgiving.

There is truly much to be thankful for. When it comes to preparing the Thanksgiving meal, I can tell you the one thing I am most thankful for is that I do not have to touch the turkey. Rubbing it with butter, removing the insides, and stuffing it are all things I would rather not do. Perhaps one day when I'm a real grown-up.

Our newest family member, Sam, had the honor of tending the turkey this year. He did great and we laughed a lot at his expense as he rubbed the bird. Thanksgiving was wonderful as our family old and new joined at our house to be together and give thanks. We also convinced my Dad that it wasn't too early to get our Christmas tree today. Win!
