Meet Mykel.

Meet Mykel. Our friendship began like this on the first day of class sophomore year:

Me: "Hey. I've seen you around campus. You always wear headphones and look so cool. I've always wanted to be your friend!"

Mykel: "I've never seen you before in my life, but sweet."

And the rest is history. I think I made up the part that he said, but I'm sure it went something like that. Mykel is one my dearest friends. We laugh so much and always run into funny situations when we hang out. Out of the three years of our friendship, an entire year of it was spent away as he traveled abroad in Japan and I went to Ireland. Our friendship persevered despite the distance and we got a chance to scamper around town yesterday to have a photo shoot. He's one of my best models. I got a chance to be in front of the camera for a bit too, and I definitely think I will remain BEHIND the camera, although Mykel did get a few shots that I'm a fan of. Enjoy!
